Mithila Painting Workshop:
Summary: This workshop includes 15 days of sessions on Mithila Painting for adults who are interested in learning this art form. The workshop includes different courses designed for the beginners level and intermediate level participants.
Goal: The overall goal of this workshop is to introduce the interested art enthusiast to learn the folk art forms of Mithila painting which is majorly practiced by women in the southern part of Nepal and Bihar side of India. We want to share this art form with the participants and know a not much seen side of Mithila art which is self expression.
